UWA shuttle bus
The University has recently launched a trial of a free shuttle bus service to address parking demand at UWA.
The shuttle operates Monday to Friday, with the morning shuttle running from 7:45am to 10:15am and afternoon shuttle running from 3:15pm to 5:45pm.
In the morning, the shuttle starts at the Claremont campus, travels along Princess Road to Fairway, Caporn, Parkway, Myers, and Fairway, stopping at four locations on the west side of campus before heading back along Broadway and then Princess Road to the Claremont campus. In the afternoon, the shuttle starts from Parkway (near Barry J. Marshall Library) and ends back at the Claremont campus. Each full loop takes about 25 minutes.
For added convenience, the shuttle will also stop at Transperth bus stops on Princess Road on demand—just wave down the driver!
To board the bus, simply show the driver your UWA campus card. Travel is free for all UWA staff and students.
Note that this service is run by a private bus company. This trial will end on Friday 8 November 2024.
