Results and progression

Unit results

At UWA, your results are used to determine your progress status. Make sure you pay any outstanding debts to the University or you won’t be able to view your results.

Release dates for results vary depending on your school.

Academic progression

Academic progression is an assessment of your academic performance. From 2022 we will check your academic progress at the end of each semester or trimester and determine your eligibility to continue studying your course.  Academic progression details can be viewed on studentConnect. If you’ve made satisfactory progress, you’ll be assigned the status of "Good Standing" and will be permitted to re-enrol. If you’ve failed to make satisfactory progress, you may be placed on probation, suspended or excluded.

If you've been struggling with your studies and are concerned about your course progression, it's important to speak with your Student Advising Office and discuss a study plan to ensure you're better prepared for next semester. If you're concerned about the impact your progression may have on your student visa, speak with International Student Support.

This information does not apply to Higher Degree by Research students. If you are a HDR student, contact the Graduate Research School for clarification on your course status.
