Kick-start your life at university with a week of free activities
At the University of Western Australia, sport plays a central role in the lives of students and promotes a healthy campus culture. Whether you’re training for a gold medal or looking for a spin, dance or yoga class, UWA Sport offers programs and membership options to suit everyone. 

Come see what all the fuss is about - try all the best of what’s on offer this O-Week with a week of Free Play @ UWA. 

Take time out of your busy schedule with a lunch-time swim, or have a go at free Rise and Shine Yoga; the choice is up to you. You can grab a group of mates and test out your skills in squash or basketball on one of our many courts with free indoor and outdoor court hire across the week.

What's on Offer

There are a tonne of free sessions available across the week, from group fitness classes to free court hire, and our pop-up sports activities. These sessions are open to all UWA Students, from freshers to current and returning students. In the event of wet weather, this event will be cancelled.

Perfect for yogis of all levels, enjoy the serenity of yoga and prepare yourself for the big day ahead.

Come and Try Spikeball

Come and try Spikeball, a growing sport in popularity in schools and universities around the world! Played in pairs, this fun and social game is fun for everyone! Come on down and try your hand at this emerging sport. No matter your experience level, this event welcomes everyone to join in the fun and make new friends.
Location: UWA Great Court South
Time: Friday, 11:00am - 12:00pm
