UniSport Nationals
UWA Maali became the first university outside the big 3 (the University of Sydney, the University of Melbourne, and Monash University) to win the Overall Title since 1994, when we clinched the title on our home turf in Perth at the 2010 games. UWA were crowned overall champions once again when the competition returned to Perth in 2016. In 2022, UWA were crowned West Per Capita Champions.
UWA Maali Sport Coach Managers Program
Lead the Maali to the Gold Coast in 2025!
As a UWA Maali Sport Coach Manager, you'll be be responsible for managing and coaching a team in the lead-up to the 2025 UniSport Nationals. This exciting volunteer opportunity will see you travelling with your team to the Gold Coast as the primary point of contact for our student athletes on the road, gaining valuable sport management experience and making an impact on young sportspeople.
Nationals Div 1 and 2
Nationals provides the opportunity for students from more than 40 universities from across Australia to compete head-to-head in a number of sporting competitions.
In 2025, the Nationals Division 1 and 2 will be held on the Gold Coast, QLD with dates to be announced. Standalone events will be held across the country throughout the year.

T20 Cricket Nationals
T20 Cricket Nationals provides the opportunity for students from across Australia to compete head-to-head to claim the T20 Cricket title.
In 2024, the T20 Cricket Nationals will be held in the Sunshine Coast, Queensland at the Maroochydore Cricket Club from July 8 - 12.
World University Games and Championships
The World University Games (WUG) and World University Championships (WUC) are held every two years under the banner of the International University Sports Federation (FISU) and are hosted by countries around the world. World University Championships for individual sports alternate annually with the World University Games.
