The University of Western Australia ('the University'), in partnership with the Fogarty Foundation, provides a scholarship to the Beazley Medallist: WACE to recognise outstanding achievement and provide support to undertake an undergraduate degree course and a postgraduate coursework course at the University.

Eligibility
To be eligible to be offered a scholarship, an applicant must—
(a) be recognised as the Beazley Medallist: WACE by the School Curriculum and Standards Authority (WA);
(b) be a commencing student;
(c) have applied for a UWA Fogarty Foundation Scholarship.
To be eligible to take up a scholarship, an awardee must
(a) be enrolled,—
(b) full-time unless the selection committee is satisfied that there are exceptional circumstances which preclude full-time enrolment;
(c) in an undergraduate degree course; and
(d) agree to their academic results being provided to members of the UWA Fogarty Foundation Board of Review each year.

Students will receive $12,500 per annum
The scholarship continues from Undergraduate through to Postgraduate—
(a) Undergraduate – a maximum of eight semesters, which are normally consecutive, including an honours year if applicable; and
(b) Postgraduate – a maximum of eight semesters, which are normally consecutive.
If a recipient transfers from the course for which the scholarship is awarded to another course at the University, the scholarship will continue for the remaining duration of the original course provided that the recipient continues to meet the criteria for continuation.
