This perpetual undergraduate scholarship is established, from funds donated by Mrs Karen Field and Mrs Bridget Faye AM, in support of the objectives of the UWA Centenary Trust for Women and in memory of the late Miss Dorothea Angus who was senior music teacher and organist at Perth College from 1938 to 1970. The Centenary Trust for Women Dorothea Angus Memorial Scholarship is provided to assist and encourage a meritorious female student from a disadvantaged background to continue their course with a major in Music Specialist Studies offered by the Conservatorium of Music at The University of Western Australia ('the University').

Eligibility
(a) be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
(b) be female
(c) be able to demonstrate educational disadvantage
(d) be enrolled
(i) full-time and
(ii) in the Bachelor of Arts degree course with a major in Music Specialist Studies, or the Bachelor of Music and
(e) have completed at least 48 points of a bachelor degree course with a major in Music Specialist Studies, or the Bachelor of Music.
