The Arjen Ryder Memorial Scholarship has been established in honour of Mr. Arjen Ryder and his wife Yvonne to encourage and assist a high achieving undergraduate student to pursue a Bachelor of Science (Honours), or Bachelor of Philosophy (Honours), with a thesis relating to sustainable agricultural practices at the UWA Albany Centre.

Eligibility
(a) be enrolled or eligible to enrol
(i) full-time unless the selection committee is satisfied that there are exceptional circumstances which preclude full-time enrolment
(ii) at the UWA Albany Centre
(iii) in an honours course leading to a Bachelor of Science (Honours) or Bachelor of Philosophy (Honours) with a thesis relating to sustainable agricultural practices and
(b) demonstrate how their research will be of benefit to the Great Southern Region of Western Australia.
Benefits

The Department of Agriculture and Food Western Australia (DAFWA) may offer the recipient the opportunity to present their findings to DAFWA and fellow donors of the fund to assist researchers to build their networks in the region.
