Gateway to Business Mandarin

Business Mandarin can differ markedly from general Mandarin, which is used in social settings and taught in most Chinese language courses.

The Gateway to Business Mandarin micro-credential has been developed based on the features of Chinese business culture and today's international economic environment.

This course is suitable for beginning learners who are interested in engaging with Mandarin-speaking professionals or looking for career development opportunities in a Chinese business environment.

Through this course, students will learn and practise the language and culture applicable in Mandarin-speaking professional environments, from communications and common protocols to dealing with daily work in a cross-cultural setting.

Upon successful completion of this micro-credential, you'll receive:

  • A Certificate of Achievement
  • A UWA Plus Professional Development Transcript, listing all successfully completed micro-credentials
