The Campus Security team is available to support students, staff and the UWA community 24/7. UWA offers an after-hours security escort service to car parks, colleges and accommodation immediately adjacent to the University. Uniformed security officers can be called upon to ensure you reach your destination safely.

UWA’s School of Indigenous Studies (SIS) provides a resource centre for all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students on campus, including students in the Aboriginal Orientation Course and undergraduate and postgraduate students. The SIS Student Services team provides advice and support to students throughout their studies, and also offers a variety of facilities and services, such as a computer lab, common room and library.

Bloom is a creative lab dedicated to boosting startups. You’ll be encouraged to take your big idea and turn it into a reality, whether that’s a small business, community initiative or globe-spanning enterprise. As a second-year student, you could choose to apply for Bloom’s Launchpad program, a one-semester unit that counts towards your degree, and gain the business skills and connections needed to share your vision with the world.

We offer so many ways for you to get the most out of your time at UWA, from volunteering, joining a Student Guild club, getting involved in UWA Sport, or taking your studies global.
