Galleries and museums

Music concerts
For all lovers of music, the best musical talent from UWA’s Conservatorium of Music and visiting artists perform free lunchtime concerts for all to enjoy. We also collaborate with the West Australian Opera, West Australian Symphony Orchestra.

UWA Sport
Free Yoga on the Grass – every Saturday 8-9am at Patricia Crawford Court for a relaxing Yoga practice suitable for all levels. No registration required - just bring your own yoga mat or a towel.
Parkrun
A free, fun, and friendly weekly 5k community event. Walk, jog, run, volunteer or spectate – it's up to you!

Perth Upmarket
Perth Upmarket Perth’s leading quarterly market for original, handcrafted wares, all made or designed in WA. Held at Winthrop Hall, it brings together over 150 of Perth’s top artists, designers, craftsmen, and gourmets, offering shoppers a unique opportunity to connect with talented local creators.
Save the Children book sale
UWA proudly supports the annual Save the Children book sale, which raises essential funds for vulnerable children locally and globally. What began in 1964 with just £101 has grown into WA’s largest second-hand book sale, attracting over 10,000 visitors each year to purchase 120,000 donated books at UWA’s Winthrop Hall.
Prosh
PROSH is UWA’s most iconic student tradition, an annual satirical newspaper written by students to raise funds for charity. Since its inception in 1931, PROSH has evolved into one of WA’s largest single-day charity events, raising over two million dollars to date and exemplifying the university’s commitment to community service and philanthropy.
Libraries
We have five libraries at our Perth campus. Our Library spaces are free to visit during standard opening hours, no membership required! So if you’re looking for somewhere to study, smash through your to-do list, or just some uninterrupted ‘me’ time – look no further!
