Save the Children

UWA proudly supports the annual Save the Children book sale, which raises essential funds for vulnerable children locally and globally. What began in 1964 with just £101 has grown into WA’s largest second-hand book sale, attracting over 10,000 visitors each year to purchase 120,000 donated books at UWA’s Winthrop Hall.

Prosh

PROSH is UWA’s most iconic student tradition, an annual satirical newspaper written by students to raise funds for charity. Since its inception in 1931, PROSH has evolved into one of WA’s largest single-day charity events, raising over two million dollars to date and exemplifying the university’s commitment to community service and philanthropy.
