About the partnership
Through the partnership, UWA students and researchers work together with the Western Force to share knowledge, expertise, and resources in a collaborative way. This includes progressing joint research projects in high-performance sport.
UWA also provides study opportunities to players, working with the Western Force to professionally develop their players off the field for successful careers after professional sport.
The partnership also helps the Western Force attract the best talent to WA and to UWA’s elite athlete program to support professional, academy and women’s players.
UWA Western Force Cup
UWA is proud to be the official supporting partner of the UWA Western Force Cup, which sees schools from across the Perth metropolitan area compete and grow the game of rugby in WA.
The aim of the partnership and the competition is to ensure a long-term sustainable pathway for young local rugby talent and to provide the best educational opportunities for aspiring student athletes.
