Apply through TISC

  1. Log in to the TISC website
    If you’re a Year 12 student studying a WACE course at a WA high school or a pathway program, you are already automatically registered with TISC.
  2. Select your preferences
    You can choose up to six preferences when you apply through TISC. You should list your preferences in order from your most desired course onwards; this way you’ll have plenty of options to get into UWA.
  3. Lodging your application
    You’re almost there! After answering a few questions, you’ll need to make a declaration about your application.
  4. Application processing fee
    Your TISC application is lodged once you’ve completed the payment. For more information on fees and payments, visit the TISC website.

I believe studying Work and Employment Relations will provide me with a solid understanding of the history and nature of Australian industrial relations, as well as an insight into potential industrial or employment relations I may encounter in my professional life beyond university. The thing I have enjoyed most in this course so far is the practical knowledge I have learnt. The skills you learn in Work and Employment Relations will be extremely relevant in any work place.

The teaching and admin staff is what makes UWA a rewarding place to study. The lecturers, tutors, and all the other staff involved in running and coordinating units do an excellent job at making the content relevant and engaging, and will go out of their way to help you as best they can with any problems you may have.

As the world becomes more globalised, the highly practical study of Work and Employment Relations allows for a deeper insight into the business, government and employee relationship on a national and global level. Being able to apply your skills developed through study allows for highly practical learning at UWA. The supportive staff and multiple social and professional opportunities provided by the UWA Business School has made my study highly rewarding.

UWA has a fantastic campus culture. I was lucky enough to run a social club, be on the committee of Uni Camp For Kids as well as complete numerous extracurricular activities, all while studying my major.
