A unique offering in WA, this course equips you with the skills to teach two secondary school STEM subjects. You’ll graduate with two qualifications (a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree) in just four years, enhancing your employability. The shortage of secondary school STEM teachers in Australian also means you’ll be in high demand.
Mostly Bs – primary and secondary school teacher
Looking to maximise your career opportunities? The Master of Teaching (F-12) might be up your alley as this postgraduate course equips you to teach in both primary and secondary schools. First, you’ll need to complete a bachelor’s degree with at least 6 units that are relevant to a major teaching area and then apply to study the Master of Teaching (F-12). The course is taught mainly online with some face-to-face class time in the stunning Great Southern town of Albany.
Mostly Cs – primary school teacher
If you’re passionate about working with children, our Master of Teaching (Primary) would be ideal. This accredited postgraduate degree qualifies you to teach Foundation/Pre-primary to Year 6 and provides you with a comprehensive understanding of childhood development and learning. Apply via our Assured Pathways to gain a secure place in your postgrad degree following the successful completion of your undergrad degree. Alternatively, you can complete a bachelor’s degree with enough units related to learning areas in the primary curriculum and then apply for the Master of Teaching (Primary) course.
Mostly Ds – high school teacher
The accredited Master of Teaching (Secondary) is your match if you want to teach the next generation of thinkers and doers. Apply via our Assured Pathways to gain a secure place in your postgrad degree following the successful completion of your undergrad degree. Alternatively, you can complete a bachelor’s degree with enough units related to subjects in the school curriculum and then apply for the Master of Teaching (Secondary) course.
