Taxation Law and Policy

The UWA Law School's Taxation Law and Policy Research Hub was created to encourage research and teaching in taxation and related policy issues. Working closely with the profession and partner organisations in Australia and internationally, the group coordinates and supports the School's taxation law seminars, publications and research grants.

Graduate Diploma and Master of Taxation Law

The UWA Law School offers both a Graduate Diploma and Master of Taxation Law as well as a combined. This advanced program is designed to give tax professionals the expertise necessary to specialise in the complex and varied field of taxation law. Students are given the option of specialising in domestic or international tax law and will develop an advanced understanding of the technicalities of tax law in a range of specialist areas. Subjects covered include international tax, resource tax, advanced capital gains and corporate tax, taxation of trusts and transfer pricing. PhD Program

Visiting scholars

If you are an academic or researcher who is not based in Western Australia, the UWA Law School hosts a number of Visiting Scholars each year. The Taxation Law and Policy Hub encourages applications from tax-oriented scholars.
