This is an evolving index page. It points to the main locations where commonly-used resources can be found.
Links in the BMR section are accessible to all Brand, Marketing and Recruitment staff.
Links in the Digital Channel Team section are technical guides and process documents relevant to Digital and Creative Services.

Sitecore resources for Sitecore users
Training videos
Sitecore Classic:
- Sitecore basics: These videos introduce the Sitecore platform, explain principles of online accessibility, and cover basic content editing.
- Sitecore further learning: More advanced skills, including how to create links and add documents, and how to create modules such as accordions and events.
Resources in Sharepoint
The DCS Sharepoint site contains an evolving resource of Sitecore instructionals.
Some describe how to build specific modules or components in Classic or SXA.
Others provide general guidance on best practice for content management.
If you find that the instructions do not quite match the interface as you see it, or do not cover all the steps you need, let us know by submitting a 'Web job' via dcs.uwa.edu.au.
These resources are periodically updated, so it's a good idea to refer to the online version in Sharepoint. That way you will be sure to see any recent updates we may have made. this is a test.

Commonly-used Classic modules are shown on this page, to help you plan your page layouts.
In many cases links are included to the matching step-by-step instructions.

Sitecore Community Teams channel
In this channel Sitecore users across UWA ask questions and share knowledge. It's a great way to get quick answers and learn from colleagues. The channel is monitored Monday to Thursday by DCS Training and Support staff, who can provide additional support.

Sitecore Teams channel
In this channel urgent/critical Sitecore issues can be raised for the attention of DCS and IT colleagues. Where possible, DCS or IT will provide timely responses, or ask that you submit a Service Desk ticket or Wrike task for us to investigate further.
This channel is not meant for non-urgent questions about day-to-day content editing.
If you would like DCS to help with general content authoring, please submit a 'Web job' via: dcs.uwa.edu.au.
Alternatively, you may find a BMR colleague can help in the Sitecore community Teams channel mentioned above.

Daily Sitecore community support sessions in Zoom
DCS runs a 30 minute support session every Monday to Thursday.
You can drop in to these sessions whenever you like and ask questions about Sitecore content authoring or check on the status of outstanding tasks.

An evolving resource of CSS classes, HTML code templates and other useful resources, managed by DCS Web Coordinators and Developers.
Teams channels for cross-functional knowledge sharing
There are dedicated Teams channels for sharing knowledge between functional areas; Web Coordinators, Training and Support, Developers, Designers and Project Managers.
We use these channels to share best practice ideas and avoid duplication and parallel processes.
