Mrs Mary Horsfall has bequeathed funds to The University of Western Australia ('the University') to provide a scholarship to encourage and assist eligible students experiencing financial hardship to pursue a Doctor of Medicine degree at the University.

Eligibility
(a) be a domestic student
(b) be experiencing financial hardship
(c) have entered the University on, and maintained, a Broadway Direct Pathway into the Doctor of Medicine degree course
(d) enrolled, or eligible to enrol
(i) full-time unless the Coursework Scholarships Sub-Committee is satisfied that there are exceptional circumstances which preclude full-time enrolment and
(ii) in the Doctor of Medicine degree course through direct entry.
