The C. A. Vargovic Memorial Fund was established under the Will of the late Christopher A. Vargovic for the purpose of provide scholarship to assist and encourage high achieving students to undertake honours in macroeconomics at the University.

Eligibility
(a) be a domestic student
(b) be enrolled
(i) full-time unless the selection body is satisfied that there are exceptional circumstances which preclude full-time enrolment and
(ii) in the Bachelor of Commerce (Honours)
(iii) in the Bachelor of Economics (Honours)
(iv) in the honours component of the Bachelor of Philosophy (Honours) with a degree specific major offered through the Business
School: or
(v) in the research component of the Combined Bachelor of Economics and Master of Economics.
(c) be intending to undertake an honours research project relating to macroeconomics.
(d) be enrolled in a Level 4 or Level 5 macroeconomics coursework unit.
