Fees and scholarships
Domestic Student Fees
Eligible Commonwealth Supported Place (CSP) students can use the HECS-HELP loan program to pay their tuition fees. For Full-Fee Paying (FFP) places, students are charged an annual course fee.

- Completion of a UWA bachelor’s degree with a major in Landscape Architecture or equivalent.
[1] This pathway is also available through the Bachelor of Philosophy (Honours). Students taking this pathway require an ATAR of 98.00.
[2] Bachelor of Philosophy students will take an additional year to complete this pathway.

English competency
English is the language of instruction and assessment at UWA and you will need to meet the English language requirements of the University to be eligible for a place.
Minimum overall IELTS score of 6.5, with no band less than 6.0.

In the Landscape Architecture major, you'll be taught by passionate professionals like Christina Nicholson, founding director of banksia & lime.
Christina enjoys empowering students to contribute positively and powerfully to the Climate and Biodiversity Loss Emergency and make the world more biodiverse, livable and beautiful.

Course accreditation
Students who complete a Landscape Architecture major to a sufficiently high standard may proceed to the Master of Landscape Architecture (Coursework).
The Master of Architecture (25550) is accredited by the Australian Institute of Landscape Architects (AILA).
Design@Home
If you're looking to start your degree in 2025, we're introducing Design@Home through UWA's School of Design, a foundation year program with online and flexible study modes to suit your personal circumstance.
Our program is tailored for everyone, whether you're based in a regional or remote area within WA, or beyond.
This dedicated first-year program combines online learning with short immersive in-person experiences and has been developed for students enrolling in the Bachelor of Environmental Design degree with a major in Architecture or Landscape Architecture.
