West Australian Opera presents an anthem to new beginnings.  

Immersive pure-voiced chants will echo among the arches of Winthrop Hall as West Australian Opera principal artists alongside UWA’s Orchestra and Symphonic Chorus present a semi-staged performance of Bach’s Oratorio. 

Shifting from solo melodies to the triumph of the orchestra as the singers’ voices intertwine with each other, this rich and whirling score sits alongside celebrated Australian composer and UWA graduate, Lachlan Skipworth’s, new work to accompany this baroque work.
