Be transported from the everyday by our free lunchtime concert series, featuring the best musical talent from within the UWA Conservatorium of Music and around the country.
UWA/WASO Side-by- Side Creative Development with Paul Rissmann
In this incredible project, West Australian Symphony Orchestra Education Artist in Residence Paul Rissmann works with an ensemble of WASO musicians to mentor and perform side-by-side with UWA Music students in a special collaborative creative development.
Under Rissmann’s guidance, students will utilise Igor Stravinsky's exotic and colourful Firebird Suite as a framework to explore composition, creative ideas and musical expression through performance.
Join us for the final showing in this special lunchtime concert which will also feature the UWA Symphony Orchestra performing Prokofiev's vivacious Classical Symphony.
