UWA Conservatorium of Music and West Australian Music (WAM) present
Day of Electronic Music
Do you have a passion for making music and song-writing? Interested in working with the latest technology to create new beats, rhythms and sounds?
West Australian Music (WAM) and UWA Conservatorium of Music are teaming up to offer high-school students the opportunity to attend a day of workshops to develop their skills in electronic music production, performance and composition
This September we are inviting students in years 10-12 to attend an afternoon of workshops and masterclasses led by industry professionals including Chris Tonkin, Tracy Redhead and Elise Reitze-Swensen.
Participants will spend the day engaged with beatmaking, song-writing and mixing using Ableton Live and the Ableton Push 2 as well as having the opportunity to attend a performance workshop using synthesisers and new instruments.
Students interested in all genres of music and at any skill level are welcome to attend.
Fee - $20, with lunch provided (scholarships are available upon application - email [email protected] for further details)
