The University of Western Australia’s new General Manager of Sport is looking forward to building on the strength of sport and its impact on the lives of students, staff and the wider community.
Jake Wilkins will join UWA in November following an outstanding 16-year stint with the New Zealand Olympic Committee, most recently as Team Service Director. Wilkins has been an integral leader in his role supporting the last four Summer Olympic Games, three Winter Olympic Games and four Commonwealth Games.
Wilkins also has a connection to university sport through his roles managing event and experience offerings of NZ University Sport and delivering national event programs for UniSport Australia.
