Current and prospective students can find out the variety of courses, study options and entry pathways at The University of Western Australia’s Courses and Careers Information Sessions, which take place throughout July and August.
The sessions are tailored to the needs of undergraduate, postgraduate and international students, and include face-to-face and online events.
They include information on the new Bachelor of Science and Master of Teaching (Secondary), the first of its kind in WA, which will be available for students to study from 2022. The course is designed to meet the demand for teachers, particularly given the critical nationwide STEM teacher shortage.
Sessions will provide useful information for those looking to start an undergraduate degree in an area that is highly sought after by employers, as well as those interested in a postgraduate degree to take their career to the next level, change career or upskill, and international students looking to study at a world top 100 Group of Eight university.
Information on early offers, which are open to Year 12 students based on their predicted ATAR or STAT, will also be at hand, as well as details on scholarships, including the Westpac Future Leaders Scholarship, and alternative pathways to help reduce stress and improve mental health and wellbeing among students.
