Lawrence Wilson Art Gallery runs micro-credential professional development training programs for UWA students. They offer a unique opportunity to gain both behind-the-scenes insights into the workings of an art museum and research of work of your choice as part of a UWA accredited badge. PEER VIEWS: Student Led Art Talks
Exhibition Research and Presentation Project led by several staff members at the Lawrence Wilson Art Gallery and co-presented by the Art Gallery of Western Australia Voluntary Guides.
UWA STUDENT CALLOUT / UWA Accredited Badge
Students are invited to partake in professional development training to prepare them to present public art talks to their peers.
Students will participate in workshops from Lawrence Wilson Art Gallery staff as well as Art Gallery of Western Australia Voluntary Guides.

Outcomes
Students will each research an artwork on display in the Lawrence Wilson Art Gallery exhibition: Stuffed, Bolstered and Upholstered.
Students will collaborate to present public talks and write extended label texts on their findings.
The primary outcomes of the project will be the ability to summarise research for public accessibility and confidence to speak about art publicly.
