We’re proud to have a competitive scholarship offering for undergraduate and postgraduate coursework students and researchers, with more than 600 on offer every year, totalling more than $6 million. Scholarships aren't just reserved for high achievers; they’re designed to support your success and help you achieve at the highest level. We have scholarships available in areas such as financial need, disability, academic and sporting excellence, leadership, and more.

Featured scholarships for Year 12 School Leavers
UWA Fogarty Foundation Scholarships
The UWA Fogarty Foundation Scholarships are the premier scholarships in WA. Ten scholarships each valued at $80,000 are available for students who show significant academic potential, together with leadership responsibility and other outstanding achievements throughout Year 11 and 12.
UWA Winthrop Scholarships
Ten scholarships each valued at $80,000 are available for students who show significant academic potential, together with leadership responsibility and other outstanding achievements throughout Year 11 and 12.
UWA Lawrence Scholarships
Students who achieve an ATAR score of 99.90 or above are eligible for a scholarship of $5,000 per year, up to $20,000 in value. Applicants to UWA are automatically considered for this scholarship and do not need to submit a separate application.
UWA Sport Scholarships
The UWA Student Athlete Development Program has been designed to support and facilitate high-performing student athletes in balancing the demands of study and sport during their time at university. Through the Student Athlete Development Program, athletes gain exposure to development opportunities, have access to financial support through UWA Sport Scholarships, and are provided with the support networks necessary to aid them in balancing dual career aspirations.

This significant scholarship is awarded to high-achieving undergraduate and postgraduate students, from selected countries, who apply for particular courses at the University.

These prizes and awards acknowledge and reward students for their hard work and accomplishments across all years and subject areas. Prizes are generously donated by UWA schools, alumni and friends of UWA, and our broad network of industry partners.
