If you’re an Indigenous student taking WACE and are expecting an ATAR lower than your chosen undergraduate course entry requirement, then the Provisional Entry Scheme is a great option.
You’ll need to have:
- Completed WACE
- Graduated from Year 12
- Achieved a reasonable ATAR (roughly 70 or more, depending on the course)
- Completed any WACE prerequisites for the course you’re applying for (e.g., WACE English)
Very similar to UWA’s experience-based entry pathway, this pathway is for students who have:
- A good education background (e.g., TAFE, an apprenticeship or bridging course)
- And/or relevant work experience
- And/or are a mature-age student (aged 20+)
As part of your application, you’ll need to:
- Provide your CV/resume
- Copies of any certificates/academic transcripts from previous studies (if applicable)
- Complete an assessment as part of the application process
