You’ll learn how foreign policy decisions are made, while also gaining practical skills that prepare you to thrive in a rapidly changing world.

At the same time, you’ll pursue a major in the Bachelor of Arts, deepening your understanding of subjects you’re passionate about. This combination allows you to develop transferable skills that are essential across all industries—skills that cannot be automated.

You'll graduate with two qualifications in four years. If you decide either degree isn't right for you, you can exit one and complete the other.

Course structure

You can combine the International Relations (Extended Major) from the Bachelor of International Relations with a wide range of undergraduate majors from the Bachelor of Arts.

  • achieve a minimum ATAR of 80 or equivalent
  • demonstrate English language competence (applicants presenting with IELTS Academic require an overall score of at least 6.5 and no band less than 6.0)
