Project Description
This project is testing novel coatings on sample / test plates in the field using UWA’s Riverlab facilities to investigate effects on marine growth. Subsequent testing of the samples in the laboratory will then be undertaken under conditions which simulate the operational state of subsea equipment. The project combines the marine biology of marine growth with innovative engineering to improve the performance of subsea structures.
This project is a CEED project sponsored by Aurora Offshore Engineering.
