School of Allied Health
Harness a range of health expertise
The School of Allied Health offers pathways to a career in health and social work through postgraduate courses.
Allied health professionals work in the health, social and psychosocial services care team, using specialised skills to provide evidence-based services to patients and other service users.
The School offers professional entry to practice courses in pharmacy, podiatric medicine and social work, as well as health professions education courses for those wishing to become educators in health.
Arts and Health
As pressure on health resources grow, innovative solutions to support community wellbeing are needed. As a result, the arts-health nexus has received increasing attention from clinicians, researchers, health professionals and policy makers interested in the potential of the arts to positively influence wellbeing; to complement conventional medical treatments; and act as a health promotion setting.

The best part about the course is the support the lecturers and staff provide. Being a relatively small cohort, you become quite close with the other students which also provides a great support system through your studies. UWA is a great place to study, there is always something to get involved with no matter what your interests are. Janesha Rangi, Master of Pharmacy
