About the UWA Aquatic Centre
The UWA Aquatic Centre boasts two 25-metre swimming pools and a purpose built water polo pool, located at the southern end of the picturesque UWA Perth campus. We provide a range of aquatic programs and services, including casual swimming, swimming lessons, club training, aquatic sports and event hire, making the UWA Aquatic Centre the perfect place to visit all year round.
Office hours: Mon–Fri 5:30am–9pm and Sat–Sun 6am-5pm
Public Swimming
The UWA Aquatic Centre is open daily for casual lap swimming during the following public swimming times:
Monday-Friday: 5:45am-8:30am, 11:15am-2pm, 6:00pm-8:45pm
Saturday-Sunday: 12pm-2:45pm
Fees are payable to access public swimming, with single-visit and multi-visit passes available from our customer service window. Access is available to customers over the age of 16 only and is subject to the UWA Aquatic Centre Conditions of Entry.
Memberships which grant unlimited access to public swimming sessions are also available, and can be combined with your UWA Sport gym membership. Find out more about our Swim membership options.

Driving
Availability of parking at the UWA Perth campus is limited and managed centrally by the University.
Between the hours of 8am and 5pm on weekdays, only UWA students and staff with the relevant permit may park in yellow and red marked bays respectively. You don't need a permit for the staff red permit and student yellow permit bays on weekends, or after 5pm and before 8am on weekdays.
Visitors may park in green marked bays by purchasing a ticket from a ticket machine in accordance with displayed signage. Ticket machines will only accept Visa or Mastercard payments. 3 accessible bays are located in Car Park 25.
Paid street parking is also available on the roads surrounding the university, and is monitored by the City of Perth and City of Nedlands.

Public TransportBuses to the UWA Perth campus are frequent with regular services from the city, Subiaco, Morley and along Stirling Highway. Buses are managed by Transperth
Purple CAT
The free Purple CAT bus stops right outside the UWA Aquatic Centre at the southern end of the UWA Perth campus. The service operates every 10 minutes on weekdays and every 15 minutes on weekends, travelling between Elizabeth Quay Bus Station and QEII Medical Centre and UWA via Kings Park and Thomas St. Find out more.
