Group Fitness InstructorGroup fitness instructors organize and lead group exercise sessions clearly and safely to participants catering to all fitness levels which can include aerobic exercise, stretching, muscle condition or mediation. Specialised fitness instructors teach popular programs, including body combat, body attack, body pump, Pilates, spin, Zumba or Yoga. Instructors are expected to watch participants and correct those who are doing exercises improperly.

Customer Service AttendantAs a member of our customer service team, you will be directly liaising with a range of clients as well as taking care of reception and clerical duties. Strong interpersonal, communication and organisational skills are desirable, as well as an ability to follow procedures and instruction. Our customer service team works at the Recreation and Fitness Centre reception and Aquatic Centre reception.

Outdoor Instructor LeaderLeads and facilitates the delivery of outdoor recreational activities and initiatives for sport at the university. Undertakes risk management activities and first aid procedures. Relevant recreation activity qualifications are required to fulfill this role, such as Bronze Medallion certificate or equivalent or an Australian recognised outdoor recreation qualification (Flatwater Guide Kayak, SUP & SUP Rescue Level 1 or Cycling Instructor certification).

Outdoor Instructor SecondaryThis position provides support to the lead Instructor in the delivery of the recreational activities. This role encourages students to engage in the leadership/team building elements, recording of student attendance and contributes to student assessment and undertakes activities relevant to risk management and first aid procedures. Suitable for those working towards relevant recreation qualifications.

Pool LifeguardPool Lifeguards ensure the patron safety of the UWA Aquatic Centre, by preventing and responding to emergencies. They provide quality customer service, a presentable facility and ensure everyone gaining entry is a paid user of the facility

Sport Lead
The role will require you to coordinate the daily operations and supervise officials involved in our sport competitions. The competitions and programs include, but are not limited to the Social Sports, Inter-College and Inter-Faculty Competitions, Kids Holiday Programs/ Clinics, Inclusion Programs. Participants include UWA students, staff, children, UWA college residents or broader Perth community members.
A role in Social Sport will see you integrated into the delivery of our Social Sports Competitions. We have a number of different sports you can get involved in that run both during and outside of semester periods.

Sport Official
The role will require you to officiate the games (in any one of the chosen sports - Netball, Spike ball, Touch, Ultimate, Volleyball and Soccer), as well as deal with player disputes and first aid, if an emergency should occur.
A role in Social Sport will see you integrated into the delivery of our Social Sports Competitions. We have a number of different sports you can get involved in that run both during and outside of semester periods.

Swim InstructorWork as part of the Aquatics team in the delivery of learn to swim and squad programs to participants ranging in age and ability. Instructors are responsible for teaching water confidence and the biomechanical techniques of the four competitive swimming strokes and associated starts and turns, depending on the level and ability of swimmers in their group. Coaches are responsible for the delivery of squad swimming programs and provision of high-quality coaching to all swimmers. Novice and experienced instructors and coaches are considered.
